Fishing With A Casting Net On A Stand Up Paddleboard

A Stand Up Paddleboard is a perfect way to sneak up on a school of fish with a casting net. The Stride Airlite HD is a high volume Stand Up Paddleboard that has a number of attachments that work very well for fishing and using a casting net.

Story...I was staying in a house on the coast of South Carolina and from the house there was a great view of the ocean. Everyday I would see schools of bait fish swimming by with sharks and dolphins attacking them. So I could not resist, and all I had to get out there to get to the fish was a Stride Airlite Stand Up Paddleboard...which suprisingly worked really well. Now it is my craft of choice for sneaking up on the fish. Once out there I made a number of casts and everyone was successful. Even with a cast where I caught the camera with the net, I still managed to catch a net full of fish in the process.
