I don't think I would personally like a straight bladed model. I did borrow a friends Werner Nitro & I gotta say it might be my next purchase. A smaller blade face, that puts less stress on your shoulder joints & allows you to paddle faster. Allows you to fatigue slower & stay out on the water longer. Super light too. Not sure this is any help.
