John,
You are so right. They will always find something to be pissed about... and they suck. I was SUSurfing with one of these "people" the other day at my "secret spot" ... tried to start a conversation... the response was…
I blew it. Normally I paddle between two very crowded spots in South OC. I usually only catch waves between the spots as I am patrolling back and forth. Occasionally I will catch a wave that no one wants... very occasionally, the pack will shout me…
Jim,
I am the guy who called you a few weeks ago to compare the Ron House 9'1" to the PSH 9'3" ... my trip to SB was postponed to late June... will stop by then. I have spent some more time on the House... and I think I may have…
Surf shortbooards and long for 30 years, looks fun, currently riding a 9'6" custom quad and a 9'1" Ron House bat tail quad.. Like to paddle La Jolla, Laguna and points in between. 6'1", 195 ish.
Roger is a friend of the guy who makes my boards- Tim Stamps- when you get that new stand up from Roger post some photos- I'd love to see what it looks like!
Hi Tim,
Thanks for the for the response to my brother Keith over in Iraq. I'm proud of him and he's my hero. I cant wait to take him paddle surfing. too ,hell cant wait to see him ,period.. I pray for his safe return. I would like to say thank you to all of the ipaddle surf community that support our troops. With out them doing what they do we cant do what we love Paddle Surf.. I spoke w/ him two days ago. He's doing well and just returned from a mission. He said it was 125* f in the desert. Told me you can cook on the hood of the hummer.. I have a care package heading his way.. Takes about 2-3 weeks to reach him.. Thank you Tim.. mahalo Glen Barroncini www.atlanticpaddlesurfing.blogspot.com
La Jolla is great for paddling. I like to do the La Jolla Shores to Blacks beach run- we paddle surf the south peak (nobody usually wants it). I'd love to see that board when it gets finished post up some photos or if you'd like for me to post it to my blog send 'em to me!
Thanks Amy. Unfortunately our weeks are spent in Orange County where we work... but we spent a few weekends per month in San Diego. I will keep you posted, though as my wife progresses.
John, I did... I rode it down in Coronado when I was down there for a few days, and up here in Laguna and at Magnolia Street, in HB. It is 11'0, fairly standard shape... and fun, fun, fun. I will shoot a pic and send it to you. Thanks for asking.
Mahalo Tim... for the tips I'll take a look a these boards! It seem to be a lot of Paddle boards out there on the market. Once again Mahalo and Rock on....
