Hi Ricardo - I got it directly from Uli - one of their demos - online . I too debated the sevylor vs Uli - don't know anything about the sevylors unfortunately. I have seen the sevylors for 500$ online. Cheaper than the Uli. Uli just came out…
fd,
where did you get your ULI SUP and how much do they run for? I'm kinda interested in getting an inflatable SUP. Deciding whether Sevylor or ULI?
thanks,
ricardo
I have a Uli SUP. It is a 10' inflatable. Before I got it i had not tried very many boards, but now I have had a chance to test some out - including at today's event at Mercer Island. In comparison - my board is really agile, and very soft…
Pluses are: they are transportable, especially for airline travel. They are great in rivers as you can beat them up without dings. Some of them are really cheap, especially the Sevylor brand. I have paddled these.
Down side... don't cruise…
Hi Ricardo - I got it directly from Uli - one of their demos - online . I too debated the sevylor vs Uli - don't know anything about the sevylors unfortunately. I have seen the sevylors for 500$ online. Cheaper than the Uli. Uli just came out with new models - much lighter weight. Surftech, Blair and C4 also came out with inflatables. They are great in that you can throw it in the trunk of your car and always have it available - and or take them on airplane. I did figure out that mine would be charged extra for baggage on airline. Not small.
The Uli guys are great to deal with. Really friendly company.
