- Lots of water miles under my belt, but always sitting down in a ww raft, canoe or kayak. Never standing up until I saw an Ultimate kayak from Native Watercraft, which is designed to pole. From there it was one slippery step after another until I discovered the world of SUP. Just starting. I'll be a drylander for another few months yet as the Wisconsin lakes are still at 38 degrees and snow is still in the air. But summer is on the way!
