New BoardWell there's a new addition to the family - a 12'
YOLO board.

Alan and I were able to try out many different boards when we were in Jupiter a couple of weeks ago. I was photographing a Yoga on Paddleboard session and when the job was done, we were able to try out all the boards that John and Bari Denney brought down from their shop (
eastcoastpaddlesurfing.com). Although we liked all the boards, the YOLO is the one that seemed to fit our style the best. It was very stable, turned easily and it just felt good!
It Takes Two - Two boards and we're set for adventure!
We've enjoyed learning and working on our paddling skills as we've shared the one board but having two boards opens up new areas for us. Before, we'd take turns paddling so we didn't venture very far from the starting point. But now we can paddle for miles together as we explore the mangrove shorelines.

We even bought the fishing kits for both boards as we're anticipating getting out on the shallow water flats. We're avid fly-fishers and think that this will be an interesting way to get out to those tailing redfish!
...now if we can just get the wind to calm down. It's been blowing like crazy ever since we got the second board. Hellllo winter in SW Florida.
