Hey Mike. I live up here in San Francsico and was wondering where I could go Paddle Surfing down there and not get vibed out by the prone boys down there in Santa Cruz. Any ideas?

Hey Sam,
If you stay off the most popular breaks you'll be OK, and the cool thing about SUP is the distance we can cover in one session. So if you put in at Capitola Beach you can paddle up toward Pleasure Point and hit a ton of great spots in between, moving on if the vibe isn't right. On that run you can almost always find waves with little or no surfers. If you're coming down here shoot me an email and I'll take you to our little sanctuary.

I'll definately shoot you an email whenI get down there Mike. I also hooked up with Gary aka srfnff. He gave me some spots to check out. I'm going to Freeline and grab that gate key for Privates on June 1st. He told me that that's a great place to start off to go searching for waves. I'll give you a holla when I get there this summer! Hopefully we can score some fun ones!

My wife and I both love paddling. This evening, we saw several paddlers out at sunset off of West Cliff. Someday soon that will be us !

I was thrilled to see a 4' leopard shark several times while surfing today at Cowell's.
