Westport Washington SUP

Great SUP session at Westport on Tuesday. Summer is a great time to SUP/Sail at Westport. Waves were 3-5 ft, and winds didn't build until afternoon. Half Moon Bay is great for learning, as it is protected from waves. I often windsurf in the Bay, and find the water calm. Westhaven State park in Westport is well worth the trip. It takes about one hour and fifteen minutes from Olympia to get to the Park...

Permalink Reply by Craig on July 6, 2009 at 10:43pm: I have a few sails that work well with my SUP. I use a 5.3 all the way up to a 7.5. Depends on wind conditions. Smaller sails for waves, bigger sails for flat water. I haven't done any heavy wave stuff with a sail yet, I hope to get there!
