Traction Pad

I have a NSP 11'0 and have been experiencing some loss of traction w/ the inlaid pad.
My question is has anyone placed a more aggressive stick on pad on top of this kind of pad and will it stick?

I know a guy name Mike at Paddlesurf warehouse in Newport Beach Ca. He has this spray you can use on your pad and even the hard deck of your board. This stuff is amazing! I think it's less than $20 and you can check him out at www.paddlesurfwarehouse.com. Good luck
