I have been to the Naish Pro shop in Kailua, but does anyone know where to rent SUP boards for days or weeks for brands other than Naish? (Besides the beach on Waikiki..lol) How about Maui?
Craig, there are a lot of rental shops on Maui and it is a great place to try all kinds of different boards . I like to paddle on the North West side right by the Airport. As you know I live in Burbank but if you have time take a drive to Haiku and check out my shop Mauna kai Hawaii it is at the cannery were they make some of the costom SUP and Windsurf boards.
Maui...Lightning Bolt (now in Paia), Hawaiian Island Surf and Sport, and Hi Tech...both in Kahului. All of them on the Hana Highway. I know there are plenty of others as well.
