San Diego Paddlers: Any interest in being filmed?
Trying to put together some weekend paddles with local sup surfers. If there's enough interest I could get Camera Grom down on the beach to get you on tape- we'll edit and post it. Camera Grom works on tips so if you drop a couple of bucks in his coffee can he'll keep his eye on you. At the very least, it'd be a fun time to meet other paddlers here in SD. Let me know and I'll set it up!

I am in North County. Usually ride around the Cardiff area, but kitesurf and prone surf a lot more than I standup these days. As summer comes and I can ride after work, I'll be hitting it more.
I'm still on my first board that I bought to save money. It's a cheap 12'x27" popout. Not great for surfing, but not too bad for long paddles. Someday.... ah someday... I'll upgrade.

I've been kiting the Strand (it's right down the road from where I live) for the last five years or so- been paddling way more than kiting in the for the last year (I only kite now when it's really good).
Get yourself a new board- you'll be stoked on the new stuff!

It's on tomorrow 5/31/08, 7am Date Street here in IB- I'll be on it by 7am- Camera Grom will be there too- bring a couple of bucks and the boy will get a couple of your rides, edit it up and put it up here. Remember if you're just starting, pick a peak away from everybody so you don't hurt someone. I'm on the green and yellow board, come on up and say hello!
